January 24, 1967 St. Paul is the new home of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Lauderbaugh who were married at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Bemidji Dec. 17. The bride is the former Agnes Guest, daughter of Stanley and Opal Guest of Bemidji. Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Lauderbaugh are the groom's parents.
Performing the afternoon ceremony in the presence of a group of immediate relatives was the Rev. Vernon Nelson. Nuptial music was provided by Miss Margaret Pearson.
The bride chose a white wool suit, a white feather hat with short veil, and carried a cascade arrangement of American Beauty roses.
Arlie Hagberg was maid of honor and Dixie Whelan, the bridesmaid. They wore empire styled green wool dresses and carried white Ameson lilies. Mark Lauderbaugh was the best man and Gerald Fenske, the groomsman.
The bride's mother chose a red silk dress and the groom's mother a coral knit suit.
A reception followed in the church dining room for relatives and friends, catered by the Mary unit of ALCW.
Mrs. Robert Swenson Jr. poured and Mrs. Wesley Djonne served the punch. Mrs. Melvin Bahr Jr. cut the lovely wedding cake, which was baked by Gordon Olson of Bemidji. The ladies are all sisters of the bride. Guests were registered by Anita Jorstad and gifts arranged by Carol Ann Fenske and Helen Swenson. wedding dresses for short brides
