I want to thank you for letting me join. I've been lurking for a week or so, reading and watching. I am a long time sewist. I made a lot of my clothes as a teenager. I made clothes for my children when they were little and a number of prom dresses and lots of crafts items too. I usually wear the classic style clothes, nothing trendy. I am changing my mode of dressing as I have always wanted to wear long flowy skirts and dresses. I love the layer look too. I have also been doing some shopping at our local Goodwill's. There are a number of them close by. When I get everything washed and start sewing I will be posting pictures of the befores and after.
