I come home to a note stuck in the door, giving me instructions on what to do. The lights were off and candles were lit. I was instructed to pick up each piece of paper because it contained a letter and I had to spell something out. By each piece of paper was a rose. For each rose counts as a month that we've been at this. After spelling out what the letters were, which was 'proud of you', I got to pick between two other notes. He knew I would have a long day after starting my second full time job, and I was feeling anxious about it all earlier in the day. I have a dozen pink roses, a clean house, and a man who loves me unconditionally, after all the mess I've put him through in this short period of time.
